Places to visit while your in KL

its my 3rd day in KL, and i have finaly ventured out of my hotel, alone. while i've made efforts to look out for potential friends. not having my pack of cards as an ice breaker, i became shy and reserved and was afraid of the words that comes out of my mouth seems corny. hence, i've kept my silence. as i approached the local transit map, i was wondering where was i. my eyes roam around the map, not knowing where to focus to. finally i saw a horrendously small marker that states "you are here" of course in KL, if my memory serves me right, it said "kamu disini" then "you are here". My location states that I'm at PWTC (what the hell is that?)Oops, pardon me, I was heading down to KLCC, can you imagine, 22 years out of my life, I've never been to KLCC, thus I am now taking full advantage of exploring the city, plus I have a local staying with me. Which is my uncle(I'll talk about him later)

Now, back to where I was heading...KLCC, so I went to the counter to buy a ticket to KLCC...so my conversation went something like this with the awek over at the counter
"ticket to KLCC satu"
"nak kena benti kat masjid jamek"
"huh??"
"majed jameekkk!!"( her voice was soft and pekat)
"oh, masjid jamek( i just nod like i knew what she was talking about)
"satu rengget dua puluh sen( 1.20)"
I handed her a 10.
"terima kasih(thank you)" as she handed back my change. As I head down to the gate, I was thinking, RM$1.20 for a trip that far. CHEAP!

Right, so taking the LRT was all new to me...I see the locals smoking on the platform, and the usual strange stares I receive from the local( i was wondering, what did i do wrong? i tried to fit in..i grew a moustache.had random hairstyles. okay not important

So, as I board the LRT, I finally understood, when the lady said "Masjid Jamek". I had to stop there. I had to walk behind Masjid Jamek stop and go to another station.
This time round, I was greeted with a familiar style like train station...it was surprisingly crowded, and when the train arrived, and while I queued in the line to the entrance...I was being shove into the train by Indians...I'm like "WOW! EVEN HERE??"

So I've reach KLCC...trying to get there was not a problem, it seems pretty normal...to summarize...I'll continue this another day.
